✍Aoun rejects Taif

On 4 November 1989 Michel Aoun rejected the Taif Agreement and issued a decree dissolving parliament, holding that the agreement enshrined the Syrian tutelage; no one recognised the decree, and the deputies met at Qoleiat the next day.
