✸Aoun supporters storm Bkerke

On 5 November 1989, after Patriarch Sfeir endorsed the Taif Agreement, supporters of Michel Aoun stormed the patriarchal seat at Bkerke, assaulted the patriarch and forced him to kiss a picture of Aoun; Sfeir moved to Diman, and the incident deepened Aoun's isolation within the Christian community.
