✸Bombing of the Nabatieh camp after Maalot

On 16 May 1974, the day after the Ma'alot operation carried out by the Democratic Front from Lebanon, Israeli aircraft bombed the Nabatieh refugee camp, destroying it and killing dozens; its residents were displaced to Ain el-Hilweh and it was never rebuilt.
