✸Storming of the Bayyada position 72 hours before the withdrawal

On 18 May 2000 the fighters of the Islamic Resistance stormed the Lahd militia's Bayyada position in Iqlim al-Tuffah with a tank, artillery and rocket fire and destroyed it, while Hajj Imad Mughniyeh followed the operation and directed the mujahideen from the operations room; the war media published the film of the assault for the first time in May 2020, and the operation was the last assault before the strip collapsed three days later.
