The assassination of the martyr Jihad Mughniyeh and his comrades in Quneitra. Three days earlier Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had told al-Mayadeen that the party "is bound by no rule" in answering violations, that the resistance in the Golan is a local Syrian one supported by the party, and that "the talk of toppling the regime in Syria is over".
