✸The Chiyah bombing

On 5 December 1983 a car bomb exploded in Chiyah in Beirut's southern suburbs, killing 12 and wounding more than 80; the last of the Front's known operations, though observers held that it continued until mid-1984. The "Front for the Liberation of Lebanon from Foreigners" claimed the operation.
