✍Berri announces the framework for maritime talks

On 1 October 2020 Nabih Berri announced a framework agreement, through American mediation, for indirect negotiations with Israel on the maritime border under United Nations sponsorship at Naqoura, and the rounds began on 14 October; the first negotiation direct in form since 1993, ending in the agreement of October 2022.
