●Appeal: "in the battle of wills we will not break"

On 29 July 2006 Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah answered the mujahideen's letter: "You are the leaders and you are the masters, you are the crown of our heads and the pride of the nation, and the men of God through whom we triumph"; and he renewed the appeal to the nation and the world: Israel had achieved no real military gain, the resistance and the people were capable of victory, and the government must show a united national will. He thanked Syria and Iran and warned that Washington was pushing Israel to continue the attack.
