●New BdL vice-governors appointed; Baasiri out

On 10 June 2020 Hassan Diab's government issued decree 6475 appointing four new vice-governors (Wassim Mansouri first, Bachir Yakzan, Salim Chahine, Alexander Mouradian) 14 months after their predecessors' terms ended; Mohammad Baasiri, whose retention Washington had backed, was thereby out, and the complete change Aoun and Hezbollah had demanded came at the height of the struggle between the government and Salameh. Mansouri took over as acting governor three years later.
