✍Prisoner exchange

On 21 July 1996 Hezbollah handed over the bodies of the two soldiers Fink and Alsheikh, captured in 1986, in exchange for the release of 45 Lebanese detainees from Khiyam and 123 bodies of resistance martyrs; the first deal through German mediation. The deal also included the release of 21 members of Lahd's militia held prisoner by the resistance.
