⚔Battle of Beaufort castle

On 6 June 1982, the first day of the invasion, a Golani unit stormed Beaufort castle, where the PLO fighters held out until nightfall; the castle fell after close fighting, the Israeli unit's commander was killed, and Begin wrongly announced its fall without losses.
