¤The ammonium nitrate unloaded into Hangar 12

By decision of the Beirut judge of urgent matters (429/2014) on 26 September 2014, the unloading of the cargo and its storage in Hangar 12, reserved for flammable materials, began on 23 October 2014 after it was found to be dangerous. Between 2014 and 2017 customs officials wrote to the judiciary at least six times asking for it to be re-exported or sold to the army or to the Lebanese Explosives Company, without result; the ship sank near the breakwater on 18 February 2018 while the cargo remained in the hangar.
