●Nasrallah on the April Understanding

On 30 April 1996, the day after the announcement of the April Understanding following the Qana massacre, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the written understanding, under American and French sponsorship, enshrined the resistance's right to fight the occupation and protected civilians, and that the resistance would abide by it as long as Israel did; the beginning of the "deterrence equation" that governed the front until 2000.
