✸Air strikes on Ain al-Hilweh and the Sidon coast

On 2 January 1988 Israeli aircraft bombed the Ain el-Hilweh camp and the coast north of Sidon, killing 19 and wounding 14, in a series of raids on the Palestinian bases after the start of the intifada.
