According to Reuters reports in November 1992, Hezbollah and the Islamic Unification Movement sent more than fifty fighters through the port of Tripoli to train the Bosnian Muslim forces, as part of an Iranian support bridge run by the Revolutionary Guard until the Dayton agreement of 1995; the party's first presence outside Lebanon, which remained limited and undeclared.
