⚔Collapse of the 4th Brigade and the fall of Damour

On 14 February 1984 Amal and Druze forces met at Khalde and drove the 4th Brigade from its positions; some 900 Druze soldiers and 60 officers defected and the rest fled south. On 15 February Mechref and Damour fell, and the inhabitants fled beyond the Awali.
