On 8 October 2016 Saudi coalition aircraft bombed a funeral hall in Sanaa crowded with mourners, killing more than 140 people and wounding hundreds; Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned the massacre the same day from the Ashura platform, and Washington suspended some support for the coalition.
