●Opening of the Mleeta resistance museum

On 21 May 2010, on the tenth anniversary of the liberation, Hezbollah opened the "Mleeta Landmark" on Jabal Mleeta in Iqlim al-Tuffah, a former resistance base turned into an open-air museum displaying the tunnels and captured Israeli equipment; it enshrined the resistance as a touristic and educational memory, and hundreds of thousands have visited it.
