●MEPI "Tomorrow's Leaders" scholarships

In 2008 the State Department's "Middle East Partnership Initiative", with the Lebanese American University, launched the "Tomorrow's Leaders" programme: full four-year university scholarships and training for students from low-income backgrounds "with leadership potential", later extended to the American University of Beirut. It is among the programmes Feltman said in 2010 were part of the 500 million dollars spent to "reduce Hezbollah's appeal among the youth".
