✍The Arab summit in Beirut

The "Arab Peace Initiative" for normalisation with Israel in exchange for its withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories. On 31 March Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah commented on "the impotence of the Arab political order, which was plain at the summit", holding that answering Sharon with initiatives was a mistake, while Israel was beginning "the invasion of the Palestinian cities and camps" from Ramallah.
