●The Tayouneh events

On 14 October 2021 shots were fired at a demonstration by Hezbollah and Amal outside the courthouse demanding Judge Bitar's removal, at the Tayouneh–Ain el-Remmaneh junction, and seven were killed; the party accused the Lebanese Forces, and the incident revived the memory of the front line.
