●Nasrallah at Mughniyeh's funeral: "open war"

On 14 February 2008 Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed the funeral of the martyr commander Hajj Imad Mughniyeh in the southern suburbs, holding that by killing him in Damascus, outside "the natural field", Israel had continued the 2006 war by other means: "O Zionists, if you want this kind of open war, then let the whole world hear: let it be this open war", and described Mughniyeh as a man who "carried his blood in his palm and his shroud on his shoulder". At the same moment Jumblatt was threatening open war internally from Martyrs' Square.
